Description
Looking for a fun way to explore recycling? This cute recycling bin craft is simple to assemble and loads of fun to make. You can even create a vibrant bulletin board display once your students have completed assembling them.
This craft was designed to compliment the War on Waste Sustainability Powerpoint and the War on Waste Sustainability Lapbook Activities .
How it works:
– Students write a definition for each term on the outside (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
– Display the bins on a Bulletin Board in your classroom or hallway with the included ‘War on Waste’ letters.
Pro Tip:
Print on coloured paper for added effect.
This craft compliments the following Australian Curriculum Year 4 Geography content descriptors:
The custodial responsibility Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have for Country/Place, and how this influences views about sustainability (ACHASSK089)
The use and management of natural resources and waste, and the different views on how to do this sustainably (ACHASSK090)
