PLEASE NOTE: this unit has been updated to comply with the new Australian Curriculum 9.0 standards. The old version (version 8.4) is also still included in this bundle for now while schools make the transition to the new curriculum.

– New Local Government Proposal (assessment): students are given the task of establishing their own local community on an island off the coast of Australia. Students are to determine the location, necessary facilities and rules and laws that will be necessary to care for their community members.
