This unit is a great way to engage your students interests in the topic as well as expand their knowledge on the history of their local area and the importance of local landmarks.
PLEASE NOTE: this unit has been updated to comply with the new Australian Curriculum 9.0 standards. The old version (version 8.4) is also still included in this bundle for now while schools make the transition to the new curriculum.

– Activity Bundle – some activities may require the internet if you wish to extend your student’s knowledge and understanding of the topic. Some resources you will need to source yourself to keep the unit relevant to your local area. Maps and local area history sources will need to be sourced from on your own.
